Kick-off meeting of the FLAVIUS project took place in Softissimo premises near Paris (France) on June, 7th & 8th 2010.
During this meeting, partners involved in FLAVIUS project introduced themselves, targets and objectives of the different work packages were presented and next deliverables were scheduled.
FLAVIUS project were presented at EC Projects Village during LREC 2010 (Language Resources and Evaluation) at La Valetta (Malta).
FLAVIUS is a European project under the Competitiveness and Innovation framework Programme (call identifier: CIP-ICT-PSP-2009-3)
Finding information in one’s own language is not an easy task as most websites are not multilingual and remain indexed only in the original language. FLAVIUS aims to provide an easy and cost-effective way for webmasters to have their website translated and indexed into several languages.
